Large 18/19 Century Copper Basin / Hearth Cauldron

Historically used as a laundry wash tub or confectionery cauldron. Measuring 10 inches high, 15.5 inches wide not including handles, this heavy gauge vessel has been hand raised and hammered from a single sheet. Featuring a indented flat base and thick rolled support rim and massive loop handles anchored securely by large, hand hammered domed copper rivets. Overall good condition, structurally sound - interior has historic tarnish and mineral scale. Please see photos
