Large 1940s Wall mirror from an Italian Villa

Large wall mirror with console from a villa on Lake Como. 1940s. Mirror glass, glass, metal, gold-plated. High, slightly tapered shape on the long sides. Framing in green mirrored glass, this one with cut tendril ornament. Mirror glass elements mounted with gold-colored brass rosettes. Gilded console with martellated metal band and loop-like curved round metal, these converging at the base in three large curved leaves. On top of it a glass plate with a wave-like front edge. Dimensions approx. 230 x 127 x 30 cm.
