Large 34cm, finely carved ivory statue of Guanyin Chinese godess - Ivory, Wood - China - 1880-1900

Beautiful antique, 19th Century, 1880-1900, Chinese goddess Guanyin sculpture finely carved in detail out of ivory standing raised on a fitted hardwood stand. The female goddess Guanyin stands for compassion,devotion,love,wisdom and fertility. She wears in her finely detailed carved hair a tiara crown decorated with a Buddha figure,in her hand a large lotus flower and in the other hand a woven basket with flowers. This object comes with a official certificate of authenticy. Measures; statue 34 cm high (without wooden stand) - 7 cm wide. Wood stand; 4 cm high. Weight; 968 gram.
