Large Albertosaurus Dinosaur Tooth
Albertosaurus
Cretaceous
Judith River Formation, Montana
One of the largest Albertosaurus teeth to have been discovered, here is a very well preserved and colorful example, displaying the fascinating serrations characteristic of the species. Found only in the Judith River Formation of Montana and Canada, Albertosaurus was a somewhat smaller version of T-Rex, growing to just over thirty feet in length; in fact, the 70-million-year-old Albertosaurus may have been a direct ancestor of T-Rex.
