Large American Carved Pine Pilot House Eagle

19th century. Having been restored, the piece has a fine form with spread wings atop a pine base which was custom made for the current owners and holds the piece very nicely and displays well.Discovered in Charleston, South Carolina by the current owner then restored. Possibly used on a tug boat in the region or building element. Good sturdy piece. H27" W31" Sold from the collection of a private Charleston lady.
