Large Antique Thai Wood Carved Buddha

DESCRIPTION: A large antique Thai wood carved Buddha. Features a carved wooden Buddha, seated in a meditative posture, atop a triangular platform, as he wears an elaborate crown, with scrolled open work applications flanking his head. Finished with polychromed eyes and an overall gilded foundation. The Headdress is removable. Note: this lot is in two pieces, comprising of the base and Buddha.
