Large Art Nouveau Tray - .800 silver - Alois Kainar - Austro-Hungarian Monarchy - 1880
A very nice and rare Czech silver repousse decorated tray This large dish was created in Austria - Hungary between 1867 and 1922, most likely around 1880. The Austrian hallmark using Dianas head was in use from 1867 up to 1922. The hallmarks are clear; it is 800/1000 silver mark (Diana head) and the maker mark "KA", Alois Kainar Prague. The tray measures 24,5 cm wide and the silver weight is 428 grams. It is in wonderful and clear condition and is free from any notable damage. A fabulous piece that will make a perfect addition to a collection of any caliber! No repairs or dents. No holes or splits. A lovely piece. I combine shipping.
