Large Cherry Sugar Chest, possibly Tennessee, early 19th century, the three hinged tops with reeded edges open above three wells with three short drawers below, all on six turned legs and tapering feet, (legs pieced), ht. 32 3/4, wd. 49, dp. 20 1/2 in.
Provenance: Descended in a family with Tennessee history. patch to top edge of back center section at hinges small patch to one of the lift tops. one front to back rail needs regluing. some cock beading replaced on lower edge of case. The legs are ended out about 5in.
