Large Chinese Cloisonne Foo Dog Basin

Large Chinese cloisonne basin, the interior with a diaper pattern ground and foo dog and precious object decoration, a shaped rim with stylized floral decoration and the exterior with alternating foliate vignettes on a turquoise ground. Base with four character seal mark. 4" H x 20 1/4" dia. 20th century. Provenance: the estate of a Vanderbilt University professor, Nashville, Tennessee.
Condition Report: Overall very good condition with general wear, mostly to inner bowl and rim, very minor pitting to center of bowl, primarily to one foo dog.
