Large Cup and Saucer - Porcelain - Famille verte - China - Kangxi (1662-1722)

A rare large set of Kangxi period cup and saucer with molded bands of lappet panels and decorated with alternating panels of flowers and fishes. The central medallion is decorated with birds among flowering branches. The base of both cup and saucer are marked with an Jue vessel within blue double circle.

Provenance: Come with a label from the famous dealer(s) Nijstad, an antique dealers family from the late 19th throughout the 20th century. They were awarded the title: Purveyor to the Royal Household (Predicate Purveyor to the Royal Household) .
