Fernand Dehaitre (French, active 1887-1908), late 19th to early 20th century. Oversized floor standing walnut, iron and brass book press having a trestle base with column supports. The brass manufacturer's plaque with no. 1236. Approx. h.74.75", w. 32.5", d. 14.5"; lowered height, 13.5".
Condition Report: Non-structural dryness cracks; inactive beetle activity; dents to brass; mechanism works smoothly.
