DESCRIPTION: Important large German antique biscuit porcelain group sculpture depicting a group of five putti cherubs, on a round footed base, with four cherubs seated and one cherub at the center atop a rocky formation. Surrounded by several blossoming trees and birds accents. Marked with blue underglaze hallmark. Signed "Marion".
Ludwigsburg porcelain is porcelain made at the Ludwigsburg Porcelain Manufactory founded by Charles Eugene, Duke of Wurttemberg, on 5 April 1758. It operated from the grounds of the Baroque Ludwigsburg Palace.
