Large Harbor Landscape, Attr. to James Webb.

Attributed to James Webb (UK, 1825-1895). This oil painting on canvas is unsigned, but indicates the artist's name on the name plate. It depicts a port scene, a sprawling city in the distance, and a castle in the mountains. The work is housed in a gilt frame with an attached attribution plaque. The painting appears to have been relined, as well as exhibiting minor craquelure and general varnish discoloration. The frame has some chipped decorations.
