An exceptional and highly decorative mid-20th-century Venetian-style octagonal wall mirror, this large Hollywood Regency statement piece features a striking cushion frame composed of individually paneled sections of beveled glass. The border panels showcase meticulous églomisé craftsmanship, where intricate floral scrollwork and stylized classic bow-and-ribbon motifs are reverse-engraved into the back of the glass and filled with elegant gold gilding to create a smooth face with remarkable internal depth. Structurally sound, the mirror's mitered corners are handsomely finished with silver-toned metal bracket joints and accented with decorative gold rosettes over the hardware screws.
