Large Korean Silla Grayware Jar, ex-Museum
East Asia, Korea, Silla Dynasty, ca. 668 to 935 CE. A magnificent pottery jar featuring a bulbous body, a wide, sloped shoulder, a narrow neck, and a flared rim. The neck is encompassed by 4 equidistantly spaced, bifurcated handles, as well as 3 incised rings. Boasting a lovely shade of ash gray, this elegant vessel is a wonderful example from ancient Korean culture! Size: 12" in diameter x 12.375" H (30.5 cm x 31.4 cm)
