According to the local consignor this artwork was the center of an exhibition and media promotion at the time it was painted. Our initial online research located this work sold at the aforementioned fine art auction and additionally for sale at a later date by a reseller for USD 13,990.00 CXDS5
Condition Report: This painting has been stored, covered, in a climate controlled storage facility for years so that the pigments are still rich and bold with no observed craquelure. As it was stored unframed there are some scattered minor imperfections such as a bit of an upper corner stretcher impression, a few lower edge light linear rubs and a few tiny flakes middle center. This could be enjoyed as a fantastic time capsule or alternately submitted by the new owner to a conservator for refreshing.
