The decoration consists out of a monochrome brown glaze with an engraved depiction of two flying dragons. They can be seen between the various ornament lines. There are also five masks in the shape of lion heads. Martaban are usually used as storage pots, for example with regards to wine and grains. They also serve as a symbol of stature and health.
