Large Mid 20th C. Chinese Articulated Cloisonne Fish

East Asia, China, ca. mid 20th century CE. A fabulous articulated cloisonne goldfish charm - quite colorful and elaborately delineated with a pair of bulging eyes in red, yellow, and black enamel - scales of cobalt blue and white enamel - flowing dorsal fin and fantail adorned by passages of cobalt and aqua blue enamel. The metalwork is silver of a high grade (90%) with nice traces of gold plate, and thanks to its central loop, the charm is suspended from a leather cord. Size: 3.5" L (8.9 cm) Total Weight: 27.2 grams
