Large Neoclassical Style Etagere

Large Neoclassical Style Etagere
Late 20th century
Neoclassical-style etagere display unit. The piece relies on an architectural open-frame construction with geometric X-shaped side support stretchers, which double as the support framework for the three shelf inserts. The upper portion of each fluted column support terminates in a finely detailed carved ram's head capital and the top is designed as a classic temple-style pediment featuring a circular wreath center detail, supported by an architrave detailed with an intricate Greek Key fretwork border. Hidden lighting units at top. Electrified.
