Large agate Dzi, Liao dynasty
A carved natural agate, grey and black in colour, with a surface texture featuring subtle signs of wear and an antique patina. The piece has an elongated, slightly curved spindle shape. It features five white bands encircling the centre of the bead, creating a rhythmic pattern. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
