Large and substantial Egyptian diorite Eye of Horus

A large and substantial Egyptian diorite Eye of Horus amulet, Late Period, c. 664 - 332 BC, quite thick with horizontal suspension drill. Fashioned from a lovely black and white speckled granite. 2.8 x 3.6 cm. Light deposits. Cf. Sir William Flinders Petrie: amulets type 138a. Ex Pennsylvania private collection formed in 1960s; thence by descent.
