Large ornamental plate with floral decoration 51.5 x 42.5 x 7 cm - Art Nouveau - Ceramic - 1880-1919
A very rare and superb glazed sandstone ornamental plate, from the East of France, circa 1900. Found in the region of Nancy in France, after the destruction of a building, Art Nouveau style and period. Sconce with a great artistic value and rare in such a well preserved condition. High workmanship quality and they have perfectly lived through the 20th century and the elements: cold, wind, hail and rain, probably placed on the gables of a house. Very well preserved sandstone, ornamental reliefs and enamel. Very little missing pieces or knocks, limited to the outer edge. Large size: Length: 51. 5 cm. Width: 42. 5 cm. Height: 7 cm. Weight excluding the robust and secure packaging: 13 kg.
