Large serrated dinosaur - Tooth - Carcharodontosaurus saharicus - 106×34×19 mm

Up for auction a very large tooth of one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs that ever lived. Carcharodontosaurus is closely related to Tyrannosaurus rex. It could grow up to 13 metres long with a weight of 15 tons. This incisor has a size of no less than 10. 6 cm. The serration on the side has been partly preserved as can be seen in the photos. Also, the tooth has a beautiful light to dark brown patina. The tooth has been broken and was glued in 2 places. The resulting cracks have been filled up. The missing enamel of the tooth is also filled up. Beautiful Carcharodontosaurus teeth of this size are extremely rare. This tooth comes from the Kem Kem formation in the southeast of Morocco. The age is Late Cretaceous, about 93 to 100 million years old. Taken from my last trip to the Kem Kem in Morocco in April 2018. Good luck bidding. This fossil is offered without a reserve price! !
