Stunning, large, antique Dutch silver biscuit box on matching silver saucer. The lot is exceptionally beautiful in shape and both are handmade with great detail. Both the biscuit box and the beautiful large silver saucer have been finished by hand with a pearl rim. The biscuit box is equipped with a sturdy, perfectly closing hinged lid that is also decorated with a pearl rim. Saucer and box match perfectly and were made by the same silversmith. Both with beautiful and complete Dutch hallmarks and marked with Dutch silver marks: silver content Lion passant with 2 (used between 1814 and 1953) = 2nd grade content 0. 833.
