gelatin silver print, framed, Musée Cantini and IVAM Centre Julio Gonzalez exhibition labels and an Edwynn Houk Gallery label on the reverse
image: 15⅛ by 11⅛ in. (38.4 by 28.3 cm.)
frame: 26¾ by 21¾ in. (67.9 by 55.2 cm.)
Executed in 1926.

Condition Report:
Please note the colors and shades in the online catalogue illustration may vary depending on screen settings.

This early print, on double-weight paper with a semi-glossy surface, is in generally very good condition. Faint age-appropriate silvering is visible in the darkest areas. The photograph is printed with margins. Visible under raking light are occasional creases including sharp creases at the upper and lower left image and margin corners which appear to break the emulsion. A deposit of the photographer's original retouching at the upper edge of the image appears to have faded. There are losses in the margins: upper left, lower left and lower right margin corners, and at the lower margin edge.

On the reverse, '413' and '12'[circled] are written in pencil in an unidentified hand. The reverse is somewhat soiled. There are tape and hinge remnants at the upper edge of the reverse.

When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
