Late 18thC/19thC Tibetan Copper Bodhisattva of compassion

Late 18th/19th Tibetan Copper Bodhisattva of compassion plaque with some parts cast out of bronze. Comes with a 19th/early 20th custom stand. I have sold several other related examples over the past 20+ years. See my other listings for related examples. All other related examples I have seen or sold are in one of 2 forms- a two-arm Buddha or (as in the case of this listing) a four-arm Bodhisattva of Compassion. All vary slightly in quality, patina, and face, but all almost surely come from the same workshop. I saw 2 very closely related pieces at Sotheby's some time ago- they described them as being 19thC Tibetan and being leaves of a Mandala. This one is one that was cleaned at one time, but it is also one of the most finely worked examples I have seen. The stand is exquisite (the piece sits loosely in the base and right now has paper inside to help the figure stand properly.
