Late 19th Century rosewood case banjo clock, painted metal dial, reverse painted center and lower windows. Time only movement marked DP & Co. for Davis, Polsey, & Co. David Davis was originally a partner with Edward Howard from 1844-1847 and both apprenticed under Aaron Willard. Overall 32" h. x 13.5" x 4". Condition: Chips and wear to dial, top bezel does not latch closed, currently running however not guaranteed to continue or keep accurate time.
