A late Victorian 9ct gold carnelian and bloodstone fob pendant, hallmarks for Birmingham, 1898, partially indistinct, length 2.1cms, 4.7gms.
A late Victorian gold garnet brooch, length 4.3cms, 5.9gms.
Condition Report:
- Some surface scratches/ wear, some discolouration in keeping with general age and use.
- Fob pendant is deficient of pendant bail.
- Few small fissures to metal.
- Decorative spheres to either side of pendant with dents.
- Some thinning to top of pendant.
- Carnelian with two shallow chips, some nibbles.
- Bloodstone with few minor nibbles.
- Brooch - Small split to metal surrounding central garnet.
- Garnets are in a closed-back setting.
- Evidence of few small repairs - some discolouration and soft solder to reverse of brooch.
- Brooch pin is base metal.
- Garnets with few minor nibbles.
