The piece is constructed from solid wood and veneers with a dark finish. The left side is an open bookcase containing five shelves with bow-front edges. The right side features a drop-front secretary desk positioned above three stacked drawers. The secretary interior contains a wooden pigeonhole organizer with eight vertical slots and two small central drawers with simple wooden pulls. The upper section includes a shaped, beveled glass mirror and a small curio shelf supported by a turned spindle and a scrolled bracket. The piece is crowned with a prominent carved crest depicting a North Wind or Green Man face mask centered between scrolling foliate designs. An applied scrolling foliate medallion decorates the center of the desk drop-front. The lower drawers are fitted with ornate brass-toned bail pulls and decorative escutcheons.
