We are grateful to Richard Grossick for his kind assistance with the cataloguing of the present work.

Condition Report:
The canvas is original. Overall the work is in very good condition.

There is some light rubbing to the extreme edges of the canvas with some associated flecks of loss. There are some very fine isolated lines of craquelure in places, mainly to the sky. There is very light surface dirt.

Inspection under Ultraviolet light reveals scattered isolated flecks of retouching to the upper section of the work, near the top edge, with further possible instances elsewhere. These have been sensitively executed. There are some fluorescent pigments.

The work is presented in a black wooden frame held under glass.
