The Parisian company Leroy, also known as Le. Roy, founded by Bazile-Charles Leroy, was renamed Le Roy et Fils in 1828. as the son, Louis-Charles Le Roy, becomes co-owner of the company. From 1829 the company worked as a court clockmaker for the Dukes of Bourbon and Chartres.
