Leather Cartridge Pouch - U.S. Civil War

Leather cartridge pouch from the American Civil War (1861 - 1865). Pouch is embossed with "US" in an oval on exterior flap, and "Watertown Arsenal 1864" on interior flap. Leather with metal cartridge canisters and bronze and cast iron hardware. 7" by 8 1/4" by 2 1/4" approximately. Exterior leather is weathered, with some cracking and discoloration in areas.
