The forms include spaces for each prospective voter's name, age, type of poll tax they are subject to, amount paid, P.O. address, occupation, employer, whether they own R.E. (real estate I imagine), their nativity (rarely filled out), and whether naturalized. A compelling glimpse of the citizenry of the sparsely populated county in the Sierra Nevada in the first decade of the twentieth century. With pencil name on front free endpaper (in a child-like hand), "Helen S. Short, Quincy, Cal." Label of A. Carlisle & Co., Manufacturing Stationers, San Francisco, on front pastedown.
Condition Report: Neat and unobtrusive repairs to spine; very good or better.
