Leeu Passant - Hillside Cabernet Franc 2023

Leeu Passant
Hillside Cabernet Franc 2023
12 (2 x 6) 750ml
100% Cabernet Franc

Wine of Origin: Franschhoek
Winemaker: Andrea Mullineux

Planted on steep, terraced, east-facing slopes of the beautiful Franschhoek Valley, this very special, single-vineyard Cabernet Franc, planted stok-by-paaltjie, has only been released for the Cape Winemakers Guild since we planted it upon beginning Leeu Passant more than a decade ago.

Tasting Notes:
“Belle nuit, ô nuit d’amour
Souris à nos ivresses
Nuit plus douce que le jour
Ô,belle nuit d’amour!
Le temps fuit et sans retour
Emporte nos tendresses
Loin de cet heureux séjour
Le temps fuit sans retour”
“Bacarolle” by Jacques Offenbach
