Series 24, 8-day spring driven time and strike movement with two part porcelain dial and Roman numerals and fancy etched Silvered pendulum, serial #86198 indicates a production date of 1863. Oak case with carved decoration, arched crest over molded crown and single door with circular dial glass and arched lower, tapered lower bracket drop. Older refinishing with minor wear, some shrinkage, multiple dial hairlines, replaced bottom finial, running when cataloged. 42" high overall. ESTIMATE $600-800
