the ballet 'Mephisto' was planned by Serge Diaghilev's Ballet Russes, with choreography by Nijinsky, music by Fanz Liszt, costumes and decor by Robert Edmond Jones, with contributing ideas by Bakst. However, the ballet was never realised.
