Léon ZEYTLINE (1885-1962) "L'omnibus, Paris" An exceptional scene by the Russian painter Léon Zeytline depicting the upper floor of the Parisian omnibus Madeleine-Bastille, where an elegant woman is sitting and engaged in a lively conversation with the man behind her. A very rare subject in painting, a symbol of a bygone nice era that gave way to other means of transportation (the Paris omnibus company ceased its activity in 1920) . An absolutely charming piece, not to be missed! A Zeytline exhibition was held in Chatou in 2017, a new Zeytline exhibition, which is a great success, takes place currently at the Museum of Fine Arts in Mulhouse (France) . A great investment! !
