Rabbi nachman Zvi Evin was born in Pinsk and served as Rav in Buffalo. One of the renowned rabbis of the USA during the two world wars. Was close to the Lubavitch Chssidut and served as the director of the organization of Chabad Chssidim. One his tombstone it was written: "אחד מגדולי הרבנים בניו יורק והמדינה נושא דגל התורה ברמה".
