Letter by Rabbi Sheraga Fabel Risenman to the Chayei Olam Yeshiva - tornoto, 1957.

Letter on officialletterhead, handwritten and signed by Rabbi Sheraga Fabel Risenman, to the famed Chayei Olam Yeshiva - the Chassidic equivalent of the Etz Chaim Yeshiva. The letter deals with raising funds for the yeshiva.

The rav adds on the marhins of the letter: אגב להזכיר להמו"ל ירחון... 'אור עולם' שלא ישלחו לי... כי אין לי פנאי אפילו לעיין בו".

Rabbi Sheraga Fabel Risenman (bron inn 1893) received his Hora'ah Semicha from the Gaon the Ridbaz and by the Admor Rabbi yechiel Hallshtock of Ostrovtzah. Served as Av beit Din of Galatza, Romania and then immigrated to Canada and served as Rosh Av Beit Din of east Toronto. Author of Chidushei HaRashba (not the commentary on the ancient Sefer HaRashba), Tiferet Yerushalayim, Imrei Shefer and more.
