Letter from Rabbi Shalom Abuchatzeira, AB"D of Sar, Regarding Intermarriage and Conversion in France

Rabbi Shalom Abuchatzeira was the son of Rabbi Aharon, son of the Abir Yaakov.
He served as Rabbi in Algeria for more than forty years and later immigrated to France, where he served as Rabbi of Marseille until his passing.
Rabbi Shalom was an important member of the great Abuchatzeira lineage and a diligent and brilliant scholar, known for his exceptional piety. He dedicated his life to Torah study and was greatly praised by the Baba Sali who crowned him with great honorary titles. Rabbi Shalom authored Kaf Achas on Mishnayos, Zahav Sheba on Tehillim, Divrei Shalom on Tanach and many more. He also published his grandfather's sefer, Levonah Zachah.
