Letter of friendship and blessing from Rabbi Yisrael Itzik Aharon Landsberg of Grosswardein addressed to his friend, Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ulman, Av Beis Din of Makava and author of Yerios Shlomo.
Dated Friday, 1860.

Rabbi Itzik Landsberg (1804 - 1879) was the Av Beis Din of Grosswardein and of the closest disciples of the Chasam Sofer. He studied in the Chasam Sofer's yeshiva for nine years, during which he did not leave his side, eating at his home each and every Shabbos. He later served as Rabbi of Frauenkirchen, Freistadt and Grosswardein.
