Letter from Webster "Toby" Street about Ricketts
This lot includes a four page letter dated June 9, 1948 from Webster "Toby" Street upon the death of Ed Ricketts. They were all Monterey friends. Street was Steinbecks roommate at Stanford. John Steinbeck had loaned Ricketts $1000 and apparently owned half the Pacific Biological Laboratories. There is also another letter regarding payment by University Apparatus Company.
