Letter to John Steinbeck from Bo Beskow 1962
This lot includes a three page letter dated Tuesday Dec. 1962 from the artist, Bo Beskow saying he will pick up John from the airport when they come in for the Noble prize. It also includes a sketch that Bo drew entitled the "next portrait: too early." 1967 is the date. The sketch is of Bo Beskow in a wheel chair sketching an angry Steinbeck with a very long beard.
