Ancient Near East, Holyland, Early Iron Age, Levantine, ca. 1200 to 1000 BCE. A pleasing pottery jar hand-painted with red on beige decoration of a concentric circle design. The elegant vessel sits upon a petite foot with a bulbous body, a sloped shoulder, an attenuated neck, a flared rim, and a bifurcated handle connecting neck to shoulder. Size: 4.1" Diameter x 6" H (10.4 cm x 15.2 cm)

Provenance: private New York, New York, USA collection; ex-private prominent Daryl Kulok collection, New York, USA, acquired in the 2000s
