Contents pages with some penciled markings, and a penciled note to the rear endpaper reading "p. 42 l-12. allusion?" – likely by Carroll. Laid in at front is a note stating "C.L.C autograph of C.L. Dodgson (Lewis Carroll) bought at his sale at Oxford, 1898."
