“Its’ all about structure” Works of art by Librto, the pseudonym of a versatile Dutch artist, are characterised by exciting reliefs and a seemingly summarily play of lines. Nevertheless, the artist's work is always filled with a beautiful balance of harmonic structure and rhythmic tension. Librto is strongly attracted in his oeuvre by various artists he admires; the American Mark Rothko, Frenchman Yves Klein but above all the French painter Pierre Soulages. His inspiration is mainly fuelled by structures he finds in surrounding natural patterns. All works of art are produced on an MDF panel and signed on the back, including size and vintage. Most of the works of art are equipped with a sturdy shadowbox frame. >Will be shipped directly from the studio by UPS, with track & trace.
