Limud Aruch on Tractate Shabbos: Personal Copy of the Author Rabbi Shlomo HaLevi Bamberger Including Hundreds of his Handwritten Additions .

Hundreds of edits and glosses on sefer Limud Aruch on tractate Shabbos, handwritten by the author- Rabbi Shlomo HaLevi Bamberger, son of the Rabbi of Würzburg.
Rabbi Shlomo HaLevi Bamberger took Sefer Haaruch, which is organized based on root words, and reorganized it based on the order of Talmudic tractates, adding marginal comments and explanations.
Also included are complete pages of additions and edits handwritten by Rabbi Shlomo.
The words "from the author" are inscribed at the beginning of these [24] pages in Rabbi Shlomo HaLevi's familiar handwriting on the inner side of the cover. A short note regarding the birth of his daughter, Ida, in 1869, can be found on the back cover.

Rabbi Shlomo HaLevi Bamberger (1835 - 1918) was a renowned scholar and son of Rabbi Yitzchak HaLevi, Av Beis Din of Würzburg. Named after his grandfather, Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Warmser, he studied in his father's yeshiva and was rabbinically ordained by the 'Aruch LaNer.' He served as Av Beis Din in Switzerland. Besides for his sefer Limud Aruch, Rabbi Shlomo authored several other compilations on Torah and translated his father's sefer Moreh LaZovchim.
