Lincoln - Continental Mark VIII - 1994

[ translate ]

This is a very fine example of a Lincoln Continental Mark VIII. The Coupe version is very rare to be found. Most of the Continental Mark VIII’s are 4 doors versions, either used for passenger transport, or as a limo in the “stretched” version. This Coupe was delivered to the Netherlands in 1995 to its one and only owner who kept it till this year. The car has very little mileage ( 80. 358 km) and is in a very good condition, both optical and technical. The car has no damages, the paint is in a very good condition and so is the inside (full leather) of the car. It has always been serviced on time and has had recent maintenance. The official technical inspection (APK) was done at the end of 2020 and is still valid till december 2021. The luxuriety of the car is obvious, both from an optical as well as from a driving perspective. An 8-cilinder 4,6 ltr. engine combined with a very smooth automatic gearbox and air-suspension places the Lincoln among the most luxurious cars made at that time. The Continental Mark VIII Coupe has besides the luxurious outfit also a very nice roadhandling which makes the car very fast and safe to drive as well. Recently an international car magazine compared the Lincoln with the “timeless” Jaguar XJS V12. If you are looking for a very nice and rare US car to drive and for an interesting piece of car history then this Lincoln is something to consider. It will be a good investment as well since rare body editions of cars like this Coupe will only become more rare and difficult to find, thus will go up in value. It is advisable to view the vehicle before bidding to avoid disappointments afterwards. For a viewing appointment with us in Bussum the Netherlands please contact Catawiki.
