Lincoln's Grave Relic & Photo

Framed early relic from near Abraham Lincoln's grave and photo of the fallen President. Notably, the "relic" was possibly taken near President Lincoln's first, temporary vault, which was moved in 1871. Reverse of the frame is inscribed in ink "From grave of Lincoln, Springfield, Illinois." Later it seems someone wrote Lincoln's date of death.

The mat of the frame is bordered in mourning black. Overall fine condition.
