Lino Tagliapietra (Italian, b. 1934) "Dinosaur# 6840", 1998, blown, carved, "hammered" glass, orange and clear; the canes in two separate designs at lower portion, and then trailing to smaller dimensions, to the top, between the two designs, the surface is cut as if hammered silver, and the remainder has long, narrow, incisions that run the entire length of the piece, signed and dated, h. 34 in., w. 9 3/4 in., d. 5 in .
